Risk Assessment and Method Statements

Our work practice involves project specific risk assessment and method statements for each task, including:

• General account of the task at hand
• Assigning a member of the team to an activity with them being responsible for its safety
• Safety aspects that are needed for public safety
• Emergency procedures e.g. equipment, who is responsible, what to do in an emergency
• Safety checks for various stages of the project

Qualified and Insured Tree Surgeons

All our staff is NPTC (National Proficiency Test Council)/Lantra qualified and we have full public & employer’s liability insurance to the value of £5m and have a qualified first aider on hand at all times if needed. All our tree management equipment and vehicles are checked at regular intervals for any faults or wear and tear according to health and safety regulations stated in PUWER (Provision and Use of Equipment Regulations 1992) and LOLER (Lifting Operations and Lifting Equipment regulations 1998).
